Experience Matters

Australian Immigration Lawyers is a specialist law firm carrying on practice in the areas of migration and visa law.

Australian Immigration Lawyers was established by Barrie Goldsmith, admitted as a Solicitor in New South Wales in 1982.  Barrie established his own law firm in 1984.

Australian immigration and visa law has changed considerably since Barrie established his own law firm.  Immigration and visa law has transformed quite substantially from an area in which there was some significant discretion to an area of law in which there is generally now little discretion.  Immigration and visa law is now very heavily regulated and there is little to no scope for error.  Immigration and visa requirements are very strict and, unless fully and properly complied with, inevitably there will be a refusal.

Knowledge of and experience in the precise requirements of immigration and visa law are essential to the prospects of success of an application.  Experience matters.

Immigration and visa law also tends to change quite dramatically, and often with very limited notice, and to accommodate the political wishes and objectives of the day.  Prompt awareness of any changes to immigration and visa law is also essential to ensure the prospects of success of an application.

Australian Immigration Lawyers rely upon some 34 years’ experience to advise clients.
